The Concept
Be Realistic is a dating advice campaign that challenges internalized beliefs and expectations. This poster and social media series seeks to question where the line should be drawn considering realistic expectations and preferences. I co-created this project with Zoe Pendleton.

The Process
In taking on the principles of Italo Calvino’s Six Memos we brainstormed a way to embrace the fluidity of contrast. The “just right”-ness of our project was fundamental in expressing these principles. Once we arrived at the concept, we spent time in Figma dropping in inspiration and drafts. With a few rounds of this and discussion we arrived at a brand and series of topics to tackle.
The Solution
Having divided the work evenly between us we were challenged with creating cohesiveness amongst us with various assets. Multiple rounds of revisions and refinement proved beneficial in championing this series as having a single brand identity and message.
The final result took inspiration from Barbara Kruger.
